P.A.D.I Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver Course is a crucial step in your diving education and at Divetime Mauritius we highly recommend it to all divers. The course will expand your knowledge of diving as well as develop your awareness of other divers and, although the course is serious, it is also a lot of fun.
The Rescue Course will increase your knowledge of some of the more technical aspects of diving and teach you how to prevent and deal with diving emergencies. The course is performance based and involves both theoretical and practical exercises on how to handle diving incidents and self-rescue.
The in-water skills can safely and easily be taught in the calm bay of Belle Mare. You will complete five rescue training dives, up to a maximum depth of 30 metres, which will include open water rescue scenarios.
